The Beginning
Found this gorgeous old building on Alberni Street that everyone said was too far gone. But we saw something else - potential wrapped in history. The bones were solid, the location was perfect, and honestly? We fell in love with its character right away.
The Transformation
Two years of what can only be described as controlled chaos. We kept the original facade and those stunning wooden beams, but brought everything else into the modern era. There were days we questioned our sanity, but every small victory kept us going.
Opening Day
April 15th, 2021 - a date we'll never forget. Opening during uncertain times wasn't easy, but our first guests made it all worthwhile. The look on their faces when they walked into the lobby? That's why we did this.
Today & Tomorrow
We've grown, evolved, and learned so much from our guests. Added the wellness center in 2022 because people kept asking for it. Expanded our wine cellar. But the core mission hasn't changed - creating a space where folks can truly unwind and feel taken care of.

"We spent years traveling the world, staying at every kind of hotel you can imagine. Five-star chains, tiny B&Bs, everything in between. And we kept thinking - why can't there be a place that combines luxury with genuine warmth? Where you're not just a room number?
So we built it. Lumirath Odyssey isn't about impressing people with fancy words or over-the-top everything. It's about creating real moments of peace in our hectic world. Sometimes that's a perfectly made bed, sometimes it's a conversation with our concierge who actually remembers your name, and sometimes it's just a quiet corner where you can breathe.
We're still here every day, walking the halls, listening to feedback, constantly tweaking things. This isn't just our business - it's our passion project that got a bit out of hand in the best possible way."
